This page contains the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Legal Disclaimer, California Privacy Notice, and other important disclosures governing your use of the Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC website and services.
By using this website, submitting information through the website, scheduling a consultation, or purchasing services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms.
Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC provides non-attorney document preparation services.
Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC is not a law firm. Unless specifically identified otherwise, its personnel are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or legal representation.
Our services are intended to assist customers with the preparation and organization of estate planning documents based upon information and instructions provided by the customer.
We cannot represent you in court, advise you regarding your legal rights, provide legal opinions, or determine which legal strategy or documents are appropriate for your particular circumstances.
Information provided on this website, in educational materials, during general consultations, or through communications with Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC is provided for general informational and educational purposes and should not be interpreted as legal advice.
If you need legal advice, have questions regarding the legal consequences of a particular decision, have a complex estate, anticipate litigation or disputes, or are uncertain about your legal rights, you should consult a licensed California attorney.
Use of this website or our document preparation services does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Where attorney review, oversight, or independent legal services are offered or utilized, the scope and identity of the attorney’s involvement will be separately disclosed as applicable.
To the extent services are provided as a California Legal Document Assistant (“LDA”), all services are subject to the limitations imposed by California law.
A Legal Document Assistant is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, represent customers in court, or independently determine which legal forms or legal strategies a customer should use.
Where required by California law, applicable LDA registration information, including county of registration, registration number, and expiration date, will be provided in the customer contract and other required disclosures.
Estate planning involves legal, financial, tax, family, and personal considerations that vary from person to person.
Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC does not guarantee that any document will accomplish a particular legal, financial, probate, tax, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, asset-protection, creditor-protection, or estate-planning result.
We do not guarantee that use of a trust will eliminate probate in every circumstance. Among other factors, avoiding probate may depend upon whether assets are properly transferred, titled, designated, or funded after documents are completed.
Customers remain responsible for reviewing their documents for accuracy, following signing and notarization instructions, maintaining their documents, updating their plan when circumstances change, and completing any necessary asset transfers, beneficiary designations, or trust-funding actions.
Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC does not provide tax, accounting, investment, insurance, or financial advice unless expressly stated otherwise by an appropriately licensed professional.
Any information concerning taxes, property, investments, retirement accounts, insurance, Medi-Cal, or financial planning is general educational information only.
You should consult the appropriate attorney, CPA, tax professional, financial advisor, insurance professional, or other qualified professional regarding your individual circumstances.
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information. However, laws, regulations, court decisions, procedures, tax rules, and estate-planning practices change over time.
We do not warrant that every article, guide, FAQ, video, downloadable resource, or other item on this website is complete, current, or applicable to your circumstances.
Nothing on this website should be relied upon as a substitute for individualized professional advice.
By accessing or using myaffordableestateplan.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
You may use this website only for lawful purposes.
You may not use the website to violate applicable law; interfere with its operation or security; attempt unauthorized access to the website or associated systems; transmit malicious software; scrape, copy, reproduce, or exploit website content without authorization; impersonate another person; or submit false or misleading information.
Visiting this website, downloading information, submitting a contact form, sending an email, scheduling a consultation, or communicating with Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC is not your attorney and does not represent you as legal counsel.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information necessary to prepare requested documents.
Documents are prepared based upon the information and instructions supplied by the customer.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all names, addresses, relationships, asset information, beneficiary information, fiduciary selections, and other information appearing in their documents before execution.
Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC is not responsible for consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or withheld information supplied by a customer.
Deed preparation is $200 per property, or $400 total per affected property requiring Notice-of-Death work, including deed paperwork. The $400 fee replaces the standard $200 preparation fee for that property. These fees cover preparation only. Clients pay deed notarization and county recording fees and arrange recording. Any AEPS recording assistance must be separately quoted and agreed to in writing. Standard notary services included in an estate planning package remain included.
The Deed Transfer Documents provided to Client by AEPS are based solely on the information provided to AEPS by the Client. AEPS does not guarantee the recordability of any documents prepared for Client by AEPS.
Prices displayed on this website are subject to change.
The price applicable to a customer’s services will be disclosed before services begin or as otherwise stated in the applicable service agreement.
Notary services for any notarization needed to complete the documents in an estate plan package are included in that package price. Additional services, revisions beyond those included in a package, third-party fees, recording fees, filing fees, postage, notary services outside the package, attorney fees, or other expenses may be charged separately when applicable and disclosed.
Payment plans, discounts, and promotional offers may be subject to additional terms.
Because document preparation services involve customized work, cancellation and refund eligibility may depend upon how much work has been completed when a cancellation request is received.
Any specific cancellation, revision, or refund terms contained in a signed service agreement will control over this general website policy.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees for work already performed and non-refundable third-party expenses are not refundable to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived under California law.
Preparation of documents does not necessarily complete an estate plan.
Certain documents may require signatures, witnesses, notarization, recording, delivery, beneficiary changes, asset transfers, account retitling, or other actions to become effective or accomplish their intended purpose.
Customers are responsible for completing required execution and implementation steps.
Unless otherwise indicated, the text, graphics, logos, branding, videos, guides, downloads, website design, and other original content appearing on this website are owned by or licensed to Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Affordable Estate Planning Services, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this website.
